Ski Park
Only two kilimeters from city center you can enjoy the ski resort Skipark Ruzomberok. The total capacity of skilifts is 5800 persons per hour and total lenght is 4970 meters. The longest ski track is 3900 meters, but you can start with the one which is only 130 meters short. The season is usually from December until April.
Besenova
Just 12 km to east from Ruzomberok in the village of Besenova, you can enjoy hot springs. Even the water from deep spring is as much as 61 C hot, the temperature of water in pools is regulated between 26 C and 38 C. The service is year-around and there is not a better relax after whole day of skiing then the hot water - cold snow combination. The water is of mineral origin and has healing effects on motion, breathing and uric medical problems.
