Ruzomberok Overview
Ruzomberok is the hub of western or lower Liptov region (Dolny Liptov) and important industrial city. The river Vah is dividing the city in to two parts, the southern being significantly larger.
Not only business can attract visitors to Ruzomberok, but both challenging and easy ski slopes in the winter sports resort Skipark Ruzomberok.
In summer you should not miss the village of Vlkolinec, an UNESCO World Heritage site, where you can see how people lived one hundred years ago in historical wooden houses.
